Kill The Lights

Have you signed up yet? I have. We will switched off our lights this Saturday from 8:30 P.M. for a full hour. Normally, whenever there's no electricity, I'll bitch about it. But for a good cause, I'll persevere. Lol.

Besides, you only be switching off your lights, right? Not cutting off the electricity totally.

You know what'll be interesting, though? To see if people around my neighbourhood take part in this, too. I'll be watching...

Eh, so sign up already lah! Easy peasy.

Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

Where? Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil
When? Saturday, 21 March 2009 at 4:30 P.M.

Mira and I enjoyed the show very much. We both can share it mutually because, well... mommy here grew up on Disney Princesses, too. Mommy has grown up since though, but the Princesses are perpetually 16. No fair! Lol.

Here's one of a couple of videos that I recorded. It was Belle & Lumiere's segment from Be My Guest. The other videos aren't so clear -- the spotlight shown on the dancers were too bright.

On second thought, perhaps I should also include the Finale's beginning part as well.

And here's the link to view the photo album. Enjoy!

I had a conversation with a few of my colleagues about these Princesses a while back. How Aurora was the most beautiful, Cinderella the kindest and most humble, and Snow White the most innocent. How Prince Edward was the most handsome and Prince Phillip the most dashing and adventurous.

My personal favourite is Cinderella. I don't quite like Snow White very much to tell you the truth. She's just too... child-like for me. The way she behave; the way she speaks (so mengada-gada gitu). Reminded me of Shirley Temple, actually.

Who's your favourite Princess?

If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true

Well, if my other wishes haven't come true yet (bila ni?), at least one of Mira's has came true :) We're looking forward to see this show together with Nong & Narnia and MC & Myra tomorrow.

I think I'll just put my feet up for a few minutes

Phew! I've just finished folding and putting away piles of laundry. I've managed to accumulate a small hill over the weeks. I like putting the dirty clothes into the washer but have no interest in folding them.

So, the cheese fries was served five minutes after I submitted yesterday's entry. The dish was bland and uninteresting. After a few bites, we left.

I think we'll just stick to cakes next time. However, they won't be seeing us next weekend because the school's closed for term holiday.

Fortunately, we've something else lined up for that Saturday -- Disney Princesses on Ice! The three little girls and their mommies will be there to watch the show. We're all excited and looking forward to it :)

I'm just going to laze around with a book that I borrowed from the National Library until it's time to iron work clothes. Thank god the school's out. That means I have five set of clothes less to iron. Haha.

Saturday Live

We're at Secret Recipe. This is our usual Saturday routine now -- ballet class in the morning, Secret Recipe for a slice of cake and a cup of hot chocolate after.

Today, I deviated a bit. I ordered for a plate of cheese fries. I am still waiting for it, though ;-p

I think they've forgotten about it. When asked, they told me its in the oven baking. Yeah right. Everyone of them are outside, who's in the kitchen then?

Why can't they admit they've forgotten about it. Instead of telling me a white lie. Eh.

And I'm still waiting for my fries!

Make sense right now or I swear I will execute you right where you stand!

Says Lara, a quote taken from Tomb Raider: Legends.

I have been thinking, what would Lara do in my situation. Probably, she'll draws up her 9mm twin Colts to kill him off. Huh. Probably not. Maybe she'll just use it to intimidate. And then, slams the door and walk a way looking all calm and collected. Like she owns the joint.

I wish! But all I want, and it is important, is something worth while in return. They owe me that much anyway. All I need to do now is to word it and play my cards right. If I'm successful, then probably I'll come out the better.

Btw, I haven't got the chance to play Tomb Raider: Underworld yet. So frustrating!! I've asked everywhere for its copy in PS2 format. But the agents only brought in these -- PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
