One of the things covert operatives have to give up is the idea of a fair fight.

Thank God it's Friday! I'm all pissed with the co sec today. Well, maybe not pissed-angry, but am effing annoyed with them.

They sat on, what seemed like an eternity, a task that they were supposed to have completed sooner -- like before I joined, probably? But now that the shareholders have started hounding, they're all suddenly a-buzzed with actions.

And the best part, they'll send something to me today, want it by tomorrow and then make it like as if I'm sitting on it now with all the emails flurring asking 'oh, have you send it out' or 'we need it soon because you know it's urgent'. Of course, all these correspondences needs to be copied to every one la kan, coz you know, you need to show you've done your part and it is now not your fault it has been delayed.

Fuck la wei.

Example, today just not ten minutes to one, I received an email from one of them with two documents attached, and two people have to sign. I've to prepare a banker's draft for them and with that, they leave a note saying to 'send it to us by Monday'. Ko ingat ko sapa nak mengarah orang macam tu??

Annoying giler!

I can't wait to go home. I am going to complete all the remaining episodes of the Vampire Diaries tonight. If only I'm that dedicated to my exam revisions ;)

We met and we talked and it was epic.

The Vampire Diaries

Hawt-ness much? Introducing, my newest favourite TV series -- The Vampire Diaries.

While looking for something else to watch other after Glee, I found The Vampire Diaries. At first, I wasn't that keen to get into another vampire stories. I saw the pilot and frankly speaking, it gave me nothing.

Yeah, Damon is cute. Yeah, Stefan is broody. Meh.

But DH saw it (the whole 4 episodes that I have) after watching New Moon and said 'ni baru lah cerita vampire' -- he's comparing it with Twilight ;p

Naturally, that got me intrigued. I watched it over the weekend and now I'm hooked. I need to get to the rest of the episodes, pronto! They've just completed the first season, thankfully, so I can still catch up.

I wonder if I should also sink my teeth into True Blood, too? Hmmm....

It helps a little if you think of them as people.

Alice Cullen said that. In Midnight Sun. Not me ;p

But, I've found these hilarious parody videos on YouTube, was first pointed that way by LetterstoTwilight.com.

Good for some laugh. Enjoice! ^_^

The Twilight/True Blood Parody

The one when Batman and Iron Man discuss sequels... the musical. OMG ROTFL!

The one about Harry Potter... Marvel/DC Parody.

Check out "ItsJustSomeRandomGuy" YouTube channel for more Marvel/DC parodies here.

Stress is nothing more than a socially acceptable form of mental illness.

This is how I relax at home after a stressing day on the road (traffic jam!), or a long day at work, or after I tutor Mira (keeping cool is very strenuous, ok).

Play Farm Mania 2....

Source: game.softpedia.com

It is really addictive. I've used to have Farm Mania 1, but this is the latest installment.

This is how my farm looks like currently.

I've purchased the game a few months back, actually. I've basically played all the levels in the game. I'm into my second round now.

See those gold stars? When you managed to do all your farming chores and goals within a certain time limit, you'll get an 'expert' gold star. If not, you'll only get the blue ones.

My goal now is to convert all the blues into gold. But it can be such a pain in the arse, that.

Sometimes you've only left with a few seconds to spare before the time's up but still miss perhaps by one second,  because the delivery boy came back later with the money... even after many tries and you've done everything humanly possible. It is very stressful, ok!

The game I'm playing to destress is stressing me out. Ironic, much? Lol!

Math is like love -- a simple idea but it can get complicated.

Yeah. Changed my template. Blogger has more cooler ones now that you can easily change it. Hence... the new template. Hehe. Plus, you don't have to tinker much to add widgets.

Anyway... since Mira went back to her old kindy, she's been really working hard catching up. There's no complain or making faces from her when I ask about homework and she'd willingly take up reading practise.

I am glad to report that she's very happy there and is more confident in herself (as in, banyak songeh dan cakap banyak pulak sekarang ni).

However, she's a problem with math. What's new, it must run in the family. LOL!

They're tackling subtraction now. I think it has been two week since, but to my consternation, Mira still has not grasp the concept. Either that, or she's not trying make sense of it and gave up easily.

My patience is onion skin deep, really. Hence last night while running through her math homework, I snapped and went beserk -_-'

Hopefully, I have not killed her enthusiasm.

I had Google-d for some tips and found a few, plus this YouTube video. Thankfully, there're a lot out there. What would I do without the internets?

Right, need to remember to get a big packet of M&Ms for math revisions tonight ;p

The clouds I can handle. But I can’t fight with an eclipse.

Eclipse was my favourite book in the series, next to Twilight. I don’t quite fancy New Moon much because there isn’t enough Edward it in. Hehe.

So. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie… I actually have seen it twice before this. The first time, I must say I was indignant. Second time, was tolerable. Third time, I was more willing to accept its flaws albeit begrudgingly.

The movie on its own, without looking at specifics, was cool. The problem with me was that I reread the book just before watching it. That’s a major mistake right there. Haven’t I learn anything with my experience from the Harry Potter saga?

Apparently not.

Movies adapted from a book will never be as good. How many times must this be repeated, yes? But I think some things that made a character and story line as a whole, shouldn’t be left out. It is all well and good that they included the major points in the movie, but some of it left me wanting.

There were three parts of the movie that thrown me out of loop, because it wasn’t like that in the book and so out of character. Let’s break it down, shall we.

My Stick Family

Found this stick family generator from Wawa's. Showed it to Mira, she 'ooh'-ed and 'ahh'-ed about it. Let her try and voilà!

Our own stick family...

My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com

Thanks for putting me in a suit, although I've never worn one in front of her. I wonder if that's how she sees me...

Lol!

I’m a pro at weird.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse with the momsies tonight. We're all ready!

Something we planned for the 'premiere' (we're supposed to go the day after it opens...), handmade by our very own crafty Merry, is to wear a 'team'-ed shirt. Here is mine:

I love it! It is so shiny and it... wait for it...

SPARKLES!

Hahahahahaha.

Nong, MC and Lah are all in Jacob's team. Merry & I are in Edward. Mean while, Hn... wants both ;)

Ok, lets get back to work. See y'all laters.

Sunnyside is a place of ruin and despair, ruled by an evil bear who smells of strawberries!

In the office, I am the chairman of fun activities -- which basically means I've to wreck my brain every week with planning something fun for the office. It was ok the first few times, but after the 5th week you kinda lost as to what else is there to do.

Unless of course, when budget is not an issue and you've the sky as the limit on spending. Tee hee.

Anyhow, I thought it would be fun to take the guys out for a movie. There were a few options but as I really wanna see Toy Story 3 the staffs were given a choice between TS3 and Knight & Day -- and the majority chose TS3.

On Thursday all of us went to she the half-past four show.

You guys... if it's not because I was in a public place (and watching the movies with my colleagues, to boot), I would have bawled! But I maintained cool by just sniffling and teared a bit. But my throat was sore for trying to hold back.

It was SO sad. And melancholic. But it's also funny giler -- you laugh just as hard. I love Spanish Buzz. Gosh, it was so good! --the movie I mean :p And we only watched it in 2D.

I think once I get hold of the movie's DVD to watch it at home, preferably alone, I'm going to have a good cathartic cry.

If you're a fan of TS 1 & TS 2, go watch TS 3 on the big screen while you can. There aren't many shows left and I think the days for it to be shown in the cinemas are numbered.

Contain SPOILERS, click after the jump for more.

My Ballerina Princess in action.

Here it is, the full dress rehearsal video I captured last Friday. I only took it using my N82, so pardon the horrible-ness. I didn't know Mira has moved to the other side of the stage, too. I only spotted her a while later.

They also made a small rearrangements to the whole thing on the concert day itself -- like splitting the girls to form 2 rows instead of all in one long one.

Enjoice!

Supercalifragilistic-expialidocious

Firstly...

Germany TRASHED the Argentines four-nil last night and qualified for the semi finals (will be against Spain)! Woooot! It was brilliant, even Klose did his back flip.

Miro back flipping with glee (I'm sure of it!)

My Argentina's fan colleague was so sure her team would win, she actually wrote "(winner)" next to Argentina's name on our World Cup board. After the game I immediately texted her 'Who's your daddy now??', which she replied with 'I'm drowning my sorrows drinking German beer and thinking of taking compassionate leave'. LOL!

'Twas fun. Saw Iggy Singh today -- she's another Argentina's fan, who couldn't understand why her team couldn't even scored a goal. Ah well... ;)

Anyway...

Today we (Iggy Singh and I) attended Mira's charity dance galore. All her hard work these 2-3 months to perform her 5 minutes on stage. But she had fun, we had fun, I'm very proud of her accomplishment, all is well.

Also, the event was fantastic. Nicely and grandly done, the team really went all out even if it was just a charity concert. It was also an opportunity for the kids to showcase their talent and utilise those techniques they've learnt in class.

Well, now my little ballerina can hang her tutu until the next time there's a dance concert. Although in retrospect, we will have to purchase a new costume if there's another concert. Heh.

What should I do with this thing?

Buat menyemak wardrobe je la kan.

Many people use their youth to make their old age miserable.

Merry did some spring cleaning today, and found 'treasures' of which she shared with us in FB.

That was me at sixteen... wtf so selim-melim.

*nanges*
